And other stuff you may find useful to know if you’d like to request that I review your book.

Who can request a review?

Anyone. From indie authors who are self-publishing to publishers or PR agencies. BUT THE BOOK MUST BE PROFESSIONALLY EDITED If you haven’t gotten to that step yet, I offer proofreading services.

Compensation Policy

I’ll review your book for free, but would appreciate authors sharing my review on their social media (granted the review is positive) so other readers and authors can find me.

Formats

Physical copies and/or ebooks (epub or mobi). I read on a Kindle. Book MUST be properly formatted.

Where am I from?

I currently reside in Argentina.

Genres and tropes I like/don’t like

I like everything romance and most tropes associated with the genre, except for insta-love. Love triangles can be hit or miss for me and I absolutely love the reverse harem trope.

I lean towards the New Adult and Adult age-spectrum. Of the romance subcategories Sports, Fantasy, Paranormal, Dystopia and Urban Fantasy are some I enjoy. I’m also cool with Dark Romance.

I DO NOT READ Historical, Non-fiction or Hard Sci-Fi. And I tend to stay away from books that heavily feature Mafia, Bikers or Billionaires whose whole personalities consist on being possessive assholes with anger and impulse control issues.

Where do I post my reviews?

Primarily, I post my reviews here on my blog and on Goodreads and The Storygraph. I also share links to everything on my Twitter, Facebook and Bookbub accounts. If you make a request sufficiently in advance, I can make a dedicated Instagram post either promoting a cover reveal, featuring a book release or sharing a review.

About my reviews

I take pride in being honest in everything I write. If I like a book, I’ll gush endlessly about it. If I don’t like it, I’ll point out the issues I found (I can be harsh and blunt, but always try to be constructive in my criticism). My reviews don’t reflect my opinions on the writer, only on their work.

I’d advise that you check out some of my highest and lowest-rated books so you can get a sense of what type of a reviewer I am before contacting me for a review request. I’m very partial to proper spelling, punctuation, and grammar (which is why I won’t accept review requests for books that haven’t been professionally edited).

My reviews don’t follow any type of format, I just write based on what stood out to me, be it positive or negative. They’re all different lengths and the tone will largely depend on how much I enjoyed the book. Most of them also happen to include gifs because I find they make for more fun, personal and engaging content.

If you’d like, I can include purchase links for the book, links to the author’s social media, a small excerpt and host giveaways alongside the review post, etc.

How long will I take to finish the book and post my review?

There’s not a set time as this will largely vary depending on how busy I am on my personal life and how many other titles I have on my schedule. If you have a deadline please make sure to let me know.
